CARSAMBA

Çarşamba is a town with a population over 130.000 people in Samsun,on the north coast of Turkey.The growing town has a lot of historical monuments.The one of them is ''Historical Bridge''.It ensures linking between ''ÖTÇE GEÇE'' and ''BERİ GEÇE''(it is a phrase used by local people).It was built in 1931.It is the greatest prize of ''Republic Era''.It has 12 reinforced concrete leg.It is length of 274 meters.In 1958, a new bridge of which length is 335 was built.

The other historic place is ''GÖĞCELİ MOSQUE''.It was totally made of wood.Despite of the fact that it was built totally made of wood,even a nail couldn't be used in its architecture.Beside it still challenges with time,with its 800 years history.It is estimated that it was built in Seljuk Emperor times.

Çarşamba has also some traditional dresses,hats,and shoes.
